Calendly added Standard Plus and Teams Plus, bundling Notetaker and Callie for a flat eight-dollar-per-seat uplift
Calendly's AI launch introduced two new plans — Standard Plus at $18 and Teams Plus at $24 per seat per month billed yearly — that bundle the Notetaker meeting recorder and the Callie AI assistant into the plan rather than selling them as per-user add-ons.
Four tiers: Free at $0, Standard at $10 and Teams at $16 per seat per month billed yearly ($12 and $20 billed monthly), and Enterprise starting at $15k/yr across a 50-seat minimum. Notetaker appeared as a named row on the grid from December 2025 but was not separately purchasable; the annual saving on Standard was labelled 'Save 16%'.
Six purchasable plans. Free, Standard ($10 yearly / $12 monthly) and Teams ($16 / $20) are unchanged, and two AI-bundled plans sit alongside them: Standard Plus at $18 yearly / $24 monthly and Teams Plus at $24 yearly / $32 monthly, both labelled 'Save 25%'. Enterprise still starts at $15k/yr with a 50-seat minimum and lists Notetaker and Callie as 'Optional — Inquire about access'. The Standard annual-saving label was restated from 'Save 16%' to 'Save 17%'.
Calendly launched its AI suite on 19 August 2026 and changed the shape of its plan ladder in the same release. Callie, an AI assistant reachable by copying [email protected] into an email thread, and Notetaker, a bot that joins Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams calls to produce recordings, transcripts and shareable recaps, both went live — and Calendly’s own announcement is explicit that “Calendly users will see new options to enable Notetaker and Callie beginning August 19, 2026, initially in English-language accounts only,” alongside “new Standard Plus and Teams Plus plans that bundle value across scheduling, meetings, and AI.”
The packaging decision is the interesting part. Calendly did not attach AI to a seat as a per-user add-on the way it already does with SSO on the Teams plan. It created two whole new plans. On the live pricing page the upgrade renders as a switch on the plan card labelled “Add Notetaker & Callie”, which renames Standard to Standard Plus and Teams to Teams Plus — so the AI is bought for the entire organization or not at all. For a twelve-person team where four people actually want meeting recaps, that turns an eight-dollar-per-seat decision into a ninety-six-dollar-per-month one.
The uplift is also discounted differently from the product it attaches to. On annual billing the AI step costs eight dollars per seat per month; on monthly billing it costs twelve. That is a 50% monthly premium on the AI half of the bill against 20% on the base Teams seat, and it is why both Plus tiers carry a “Save 25%” badge where Standard shows 17% and Teams 20%.
Notably, Calendly did not meter any of it. There is no per-recording, per-transcript-minute or per-Callie-request charge anywhere on the pricing surfaces, even though its own sub-processor list names OpenAI (“AI features, Notetaker meeting summaries, SMS compliance”) and Hyperdoc, a.k.a. Recall.ai (“Processes audio/video recording for Calendly Notetaker”) as the vendors doing the work underneath — both of which bill by consumption. Calendly is carrying the usage variance itself in exchange for a flat, knowable seat price.
Two caveats ship with the tiers: Callie carries a “Beta” label on every surface it appears on, and the pricing page states that “Notetaker and Callie are only available in English at this time.”
