Captions removes the $9.99 Pro tier
Captions dropped its $9.99/mo Pro plan; the paid lineup is now Max ($24.99), Scale ($69.99-$279.99, 1x/2x/4x usage), and Enterprise, with a free tier for editing and captions.

Captions has removed its $9.99/mo Pro tier from the pricing page. Previously the Pro plan served creators who wanted polished captions, watermark-free exports, and traditional editing (AI Translate, Lipdub, Shorts, Reddit to Reel) without paying for generative AI credits.
With Pro gone, the pricing page now shows three cards — Max ($24.99/mo, 500 credits), Scale ($69.99/mo at 1x, toggling to $139.99 at 2x and $279.99 at 4x), and Enterprise (custom). A Free tier remains, but only surfaces in the “Compare more features” table rather than as a purchasable card. The former Pro-level features (100+ caption templates, AI Translate/Lipdub, AI Shorts, Reddit to Reel) now start at the Max tier, raising the entry price for those capabilities from $9.99 to $24.99. Max and Scale prices and credit allotments are otherwise unchanged.
