Cartesia drops its 20%-off yearly billing option
Cartesia removed the Monthly/Yearly billing toggle from its pricing page, so self-serve tiers now advertise monthly-only rates: Pro $5, Startup $49, Scale $299.
A 'Self-serve plans & usage' panel with a Monthly / Yearly (Save 20%) toggle, defaulting to the discounted yearly-equivalent rates of $4/mo Pro, $39/mo Startup, $239/mo Scale.
No billing-period toggle. A single monthly rate per tier: Free $0/mo, Pro $5/mo, Startup $49/mo, Scale $299/mo, Enterprise custom.

These values appear in only one of the two captures. That can mean a page-layout difference rather than a price move — read the images, not just the list.

Cartesia has removed the annual billing option from cartesia.ai/pricing. Through mid-2026 the plan cards sat inside a “Self-serve plans & usage” panel with a Monthly / Yearly switch, where Yearly was badged “Save 20%” and rendered as the default view — so the advertised prices were $4, $39, and $239 per month for Pro, Startup, and Scale. The July 2026 page has no toggle at all, and the plan cards show $5, $49, and $299 per month. The comparison grid below still carries the vestigial line “same billing period as above”, the only remaining trace of the control.
Everything else on the page is unchanged: credit allowances hold at 20K / 100K / 1.25M / 8M per month (~27 / ~133 / ~1,667 / ~10,667 Sonic-3.5 TTS minutes), prepaid voice-agent balances at $1 / $5 / $49 / $299, Line voice agents at a flat $0.06 per minute of call duration on every plan, telephony at $0.014 per minute on a Cartesia-provided number, the voice changer at 15 credits per second of audio, and voice localization at 225 credits as a one-time cost. The practical effect is narrow but real: buyers who would have prepaid annually for the discount now see a 25% higher list price with no committed-term alternative on the page.
Cartesia dropped the "Self-serve plans & usage" Monthly / Yearly toggle (Yearly was marked "Save 20%") from cartesia.ai/pricing. The page now advertises a single monthly rate per tier — Pro $5/mo, Startup $49/mo, Scale $299/mo — where the previous default view showed the discounted yearly-equivalent rates of $4, $39, and $239. Credit allowances (20K / 100K / 1.25M / 8M), prepaid agent balances, concurrency limits, and the $0.06/min voice-agent rate are all unchanged.
