Freshworks drops the free Freshsales plan and publishes AI add-on prices

Freshworks pricing

Freshworks rebuilt the Freshsales pricing page: the $0 three-user Free plan is gone, and the Freddy AI Agent add-on is now listed at $49 per 100 bot sessions.

Before

Four editions — Free ($0, up to 3 users), Growth $9, Pro $39, Enterprise $59 per user/month billed annually — with the Freddy AI Agent and Configure-Price-Quote add-ons shown as unpriced Learn more cards and 1 CPQ license bundled into Growth.

After

Three editions — Growth $9, Pro $39, Enterprise $59 per user/month billed annually ($11/$47/$71 monthly) — with priced add-ons on every card: Freddy AI Agent $49/100 sessions and Branded documents (CPQ) $19/user/month. No $0 plan; only a 21-day no-credit-card trial.

Seat prices themselves did not move. What changed is the shape of the offer around them.

Removing the $0 three-user Free plan takes Freshsales off the freemium ladder it had run since the post-IPO repackaging in 2022, leaving the 21-day trial as the only advertised free entry point. The pricing page FAQ is explicit that the account is suspended if no plan is chosen when the trial ends.

The more interesting move runs the other direction. After two years of quoting Freddy AI Agent session packs through sales, Freshworks now prints the rate on the page — $49 per 100 bot sessions, roughly $0.49 per session, offered identically on Growth, Pro and Enterprise. A bot session is any unique end-user-to-bot interaction inside a 24-hour window, so the unit is a conversation rather than a resolved outcome; Intercom Fin, by contrast, charges $0.99 per resolution. Each paid account still gets 500 free sessions once.

Configure-Price-Quote also changed hands: what used to be “1 CPQ license” bundled into Growth is now “Branded documents” at $19/user/month, listed as an add-on on all three editions.

Free plan dropped from the pricing page; add-on prices published ($49/100 sessions, $19/user/mo CPQ)

A redesigned Freshsales pricing page now shows only three editions — Growth $9, Pro $39, Enterprise $59 per user/month billed annually ($11/$47/$71 monthly) — with the $0 three-user Free plan card removed. For the first time the two add-ons carry inline list prices on every edition: Freddy AI Agent at $49/100 sessions and Branded documents (CPQ) at $19/user/month, replacing the previous 'Learn more' sales-quoted treatment and the 1 CPQ license that used to be bundled into Growth. Seat prices themselves are unchanged.
