What these images do and don't show
  • 2 pages had no counterpart in the earlier capture and are not shown.

Both images are our own captures, taken on the dates shown. The pixels are unmodified — nothing is retouched, and where a region is highlighted the marker is drawn over the image, not into it. Open either capture to see it at full resolution.

The new-customer discount on Intercom’s entry tier — which lapsed at the end of June 2026 — is back, and it is wider than the June run. Intercom’s pricing page now serves a “New customer offer: Save 35% on Essential plan” banner on annual billing, striking the $29 list seat to $19 per seat/mo (the calculator’s annualised line moves from $348.00 to $228.00). Switching the page to “Billed monthly” swaps the banner to “Save 25%” and strikes the $39 monthly list seat to $29 per seat/mo — the June offer only touched annual billing.

The banner ships inside a container tagged data-experiment="team-self-serve-essential-price-reduction", so this is an allocated A/B test rather than a blanket reprice: repeated loads of the same page land on either the treatment ($19) or the control ($29 list). fin.ai/pricing runs the same experiment on its own “Fin with the Intercom helpdesk” card: the 2026-07-21 screenshot capture shows $0.99 per outcome + $19 per helpdesk seat per month, while two independent fetches of that page on the same day returned $29 per helpdesk seat per month with no struck-through price and no discount banner. The card’s capture history ($29 on 2026-05-28, $19 on 2026-06-24 and 2026-06-30, $29 on 2026-07-06, both values on 2026-07-21) shows the anchor is variant-served rather than date-driven — there is no standing $29 → $19 move on the Fin surface.

Nothing else moved. Advanced holds at $85/seat/mo annual ($99 monthly), Expert at $132/seat/mo annual ($139 monthly), the add-on rack is unchanged (Pro $99/mo for analysis of 1,000 conversations, Proactive Support Plus $99/mo for 500 messages sent, Copilot $29 per agent/mo annual or $35 monthly), and the $0.99-per-Fin-outcome meter — the line that actually drives an Intercom bill at volume — is untouched. As in June, this is an acquisition lever on the cheapest, least bill-relevant part of the model rather than a change to the outcome economics.

From Intercom's pricing timeline
Essential Entry Seat Cut Again — 35% Off Annual, 25% Off Monthly

The new-customer Essential discount is live again, this time on both billing cadences and as a named A/B experiment (team-self-serve-essential-price-reduction). Annual Essential shows $29 struck to $19/seat/mo ($348/yr struck to $228/yr) under a Save 35% banner; monthly Essential shows $39 struck to $29/seat/mo under a Save 25% banner. fin.ai/pricing serves the same variance on its Intercom-helpdesk seat anchor — the 2026-07-21 capture shows $19/seat/mo, while two independent same-day fetches returned $29/seat/mo with no discount banner. Advanced ($85 annual / $99 monthly), Expert ($132 annual / $139 monthly) and the $0.99-per-Fin-outcome meter are unchanged.

About Intercom
intercom.com ↗

Intercom uses a hybrid model: seat-based platform access listed at $29–$132 per seat per month across three tiers (Essential, Advanced, Expert), plus $0.99 per Fin AI resolution — charged only when Fin successfully closes a conversation, not per query or token. Intercom has repeatedly toggled a new-customer Essential discount to $19 per seat per month on annual billing since 2026-06-24, and as of 2026-08-27 the offer has split for the first time: intercom.com/pricing's own annual toggle shows the clean $29 list rate with no banner, while that same site's pricing calculator and fin.ai/pricing still show the discounted $19 per seat per month.
