Jasper adds a credit meter on top of seats and publishes a public rate card

Jasper pricing

Jasper layered credit metering onto its per-seat plans: GEO Hub, Grid rows and heavier Agents now consume credits on the Business plan, per a new rate card.

Before

Pure per-seat subscription. Pro $59/seat/mo billed yearly ($69 monthly, 1 seat); Business custom-quoted. No meter of any kind — no tokens, no generations, no credits.

After

Hybrid seat + credit model. Pro unchanged at $59/$69 per seat. Business adds a credit meter: 10 credits per Jasper Grid row, 10 credits per GEO Hub query or page run, 40 credits per Research or Translation Agent run, 100 credits per Optimization Agent run; API/MCP metered per call at 1–40 credits. No dollar-per-credit rate published.

Jasper has reintroduced usage metering three years after killing the word caps it launched with. Its pricing FAQ now carries a new entry, “How do Jasper credits work?”, stating that “some usage-based features, like the GEO Hub and Agents, run on credits, which sit alongside seat-based pricing on the Business plan.” Credits are consumed per action, and admins can view and govern their workspace’s credit allocation. Standard content creation in Chat and Canvas is explicitly not what drives credit usage.

The mechanics are itemised on a new public page, the Jasper Rate Card, stamped “Updated 6.9.2026”. In-app, Prompts and standard Agents excluding Advanced Agents are unlimited; Jasper Grid costs 10 credits per row, the GEO Hub 10 credits per query or page run, the Research and Translation Agents 40 credits per run, and the Optimization Agent 100 credits per run. A footnote makes Grid the compounding case: “Advanced Agent runs in Grid are billed per row; the total credit cost is the 10-credit Grid row cost plus the Advanced Agent run cost” — and that cost applies in Grid test mode as well as live runs.

Out-of-app, API and MCP calls are metered per call: 1 credit for content generation, 2 for a template run, 4 for a standard Agent run and 40 for a Translation Agent run, with the Image API on custom credit pricing.

Headline plan prices are unchanged — Pro remains $59 per seat per month billed yearly or $69 billed monthly with one seat, and Business remains custom-quoted. But the shape of the bill has changed: Jasper is now a hybrid rather than a pure seat model, and because it publishes credit costs without publishing a dollar value per credit, the meter is only legible to buyers who already hold a Business quote.
