LMNT shuts down entirely — every LMNT domain now serves a shutdown notice

LMNT pricing

Sometime between the 2026-08-03 and 2026-09-01 Wayback snapshots, lmnt.com, app.lmnt.com, docs.lmnt.com and the blog all replaced their normal content with a single shutdown page: "Our speech generation journey has come to an end. Thank you for being part of it." The notice itself is undated and names no acquirer or successor; 2026-09-01 is the observed-by date, not a company-stated shutdown date.

Before

As of the 2026-08-03 Wayback snapshot, lmnt.com served its normal marketing site (title: "LMNT - Fast Lifelike Affordable AI Speech") with live pricing, docs, blog, and app subdomains.

After

As of 2026-09-01 (Wayback) and confirmed live on 2026-09-11, every LMNT surface (www, app, docs, blog) serves only: title "LMNT has shut down", body "Our speech generation journey has come to an end. Thank you for being part of it." No pricing, docs, or careers content remains reachable.

Between the 2026-08-03 and 2026-09-01 Wayback Machine snapshots, LMNT — the low-latency text-to-speech API — shut down. lmnt.com, app.lmnt.com, and docs.lmnt.com all now serve the same single-page notice: “Our speech generation journey has come to an end. Thank you for being part of it.” The notice carries no date, no wind-down timeline, no acquisition, and no successor product, and a 2026-09-11 search surfaced no primary-source announcement (press release, founder post) beyond the website itself. LMNT never published a shutdown date: the 2026-09-01 date on this entry is the first date the notice was observed in the Wayback Machine, bounded below by the last normal capture on 2026-08-03 — an observed-by bracket, not a company-stated shutdown date. The shutdown page is live as of this writing (2026-09-11).
