Reka discontinues Reka Research, its per-request web-research API
Reka pulled Reka Research ($25-$60 per 1,000 requests) from its API pricing page and docs nav; the product's overview page now returns a 404, leaving Chat and Vision as Reka's only priced products.
docs.reka.ai/pricing listed a Reka Research table ($25.00 standard, $35.00 parallel-thinking low, $60.00 parallel-thinking high per 1,000 requests on reka-flash-research), and the docs left nav carried a full Research section (Overview, Streaming, Reasoning Steps, Web Search, Structured Output, Parallel Thinking, Best Practices, Errors, Examples, API Reference, Changelog).
The Reka Research table and the entire Research nav section are gone from docs.reka.ai/pricing; only Reka Chat (Edge/Flash/Core) and Reka Vision remain priced. docs.reka.ai/research/overview now returns a 404 Page Not Found.
Between the 2026-07-22 and 2026-09-07 capture passes, Reka removed Reka Research — its per-1,000-request web-research product ($25 standard, $35 parallel-thinking low, $60 parallel-thinking high on the reka-flash-research model) — from public pricing entirely. The docs sidebar no longer lists a Research section at all, and the dedicated overview page (docs.reka.ai/research/overview) now serves a 404 with the heading “Page Not Found.” Reka’s publicly priced surface is now down to two meters: the per-token Chat API (Edge/Flash/Core) and the per-minute Vision API. Chat and Vision rates are unchanged. Separately, Reka’s marketing homepage rebranded its inference-product block from “Infer” to “Reka Cloud” (train/customize/deploy models), though the footer navigation still labels the line “Infer.”
Captured live USD pricing from docs.reka.ai: Reka Chat per-1M-token Edge $0.10/$0.10, Flash $0.80/$2, Core $2/$6 plus per-image/video/audio units; Reka Research $25/$35/$60 per 1k requests; Reka Vision $0.05/input-min with 180 free minutes, plus an image meter ($10/1M uploads, $50/1M/month stored, $0.003/search) and a credit-based Developer tier; Vision Enterprise sales-quoted. Reka's marketing home now positions the company around 'the physical AI era' with four lines — Labs, Infer, Vision and Claru.
