Clari merger closes; gated pricing unchanged

Salesloft pricing

Vista-backed Salesloft completed its merger with revenue-intelligence vendor Clari on 2025-12-03, forming a privately-held company branded 'Clari + Salesloft' and positioned as building the 'first Predictive Revenue System'. Steve Cox was appointed CEO at close, replacing Clari co-founder Andy Byrne, who the 2025-08-07 agreement had named to lead. Corporate structure only: no unified post-merger price list has shipped, Salesloft's own pricing page still shows the gated two-package Advanced/Elite grid, and the companies' customer FAQ says platform unification will happen 'over the coming years'.

Before

Salesloft operated as a standalone Vista Equity Partners portfolio company (majority stake taken December 2021 at a reported $2.3 billion valuation; sibling portfolio company Drift merged into Salesloft in February 2024), selling a gated, seat-based Advanced/Elite revenue-orchestration platform with no published per-seat prices.

After

Salesloft is part of a merged, privately-held 'Clari + Salesloft' company led by CEO Steve Cox. Salesloft's own gated Advanced/Elite seat packaging is unchanged and no unified Clari + Salesloft price list has been published; the two products remain separately deployed and separately sold.

Clari and Salesloft announced an agreement to merge on 2025-08-07 and completed the merger on 2025-12-03. The combined entity is branded “Clari + Salesloft” and, at close, positioned itself around building the “first Predictive Revenue System”. Steve Cox was appointed CEO of the combined organization at close — a change from the August agreement, which had named Clari co-founder Andy Byrne to lead.

Scale figures come from the two announcements and should be attributed to their source. The 2025-08-07 agreement announcement cited over 5,000 organizations and “$10 trillion in annual revenue under management”, naming Adobe, IBM, 3M, Zoom and Shopify as customers. Reporting around the December close put combined ARR at roughly $450 million. The close announcement itself leads with product framing (“1 trillion data signals”) rather than restating the revenue-under-management figure.

This is a material ownership and corporate-structure change, not a pricing change. As of the 2026-07-06 capture, the Salesloft pricing page still presents the standalone gated two-package grid — Advanced and Elite, as a feature-comparison table with no per-seat dollar figures and every tier routed through Request a Demo or Talk to Sales — with no Clari branding and no unified post-merger rate card. The companies’ own customer FAQ told customers there were no current plans for required migrations between the two products, that deep integrations would arrive “in the quarters to come” without changing deployment or onboarding, and that platform unification would happen “over the coming years”.

The buyer implication is that Salesloft’s current packaging should be treated as legacy standalone pricing that may be restructured once a combined roadmap and price list land. The merged company now carries four distinct product layers — Clari Forecast, Clari Copilot, Groove and Salesloft — which is a lot of overlapping surface to rationalise, and any eventual bundle is the moment to re-open the seat count and the tier.
