Sequence ships an AI AR agent, Watchtower review console and Sequence MCP — with no new priced SKU

Sequence pricing

Sequence launched an AR agent, agent guardrails and Sequence MCP, and rebranded receivables as AR Collections. Tier prices are unchanged: Growth stays $799 per month.

Before

Quote-to-revenue platform: Growth $799/mo (under $1m annual revenue), bespoke Core and Scale, three paid add-ons (quote builder, custom reporting dashboard, revenue recognition).

After

Same three tiers and the same $799/mo Growth price, now wrapped around an agent layer (AR agent, reconciliation, invoice review, quote approvals, contract intake) reviewed in Watchtower, plus Sequence MCP for Claude/Cursor/ChatGPT — none of it separately priced.

Sequence’s pricing page is numerically unchanged since the last check: Growth is still $799 per month for startups with under $1m in annual revenue, Core ($1-10m) and Scale ($10m+) are still “Bespoke pricing” assessed as a monthly platform fee on projected billed revenue, and the paid add-ons are still the quote builder, the custom reporting dashboard, and revenue recognition (Core and Scale only).

What moved is the product surface. The homepage now leads with “Agents that run your revenue operations” — named agents for AR, reconciliation, invoice review, quote approvals, payment reminders and contract intake, each configured in plain English with explicit tools, app scopes and guardrails (“Cannot edit payment or banking details”, “Cannot edit invoices or credit notes”). Watchtower is the human-review console where out-of-tolerance agent work lands. Sequence MCP exposes billing and revenue data to Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT and other MCP clients. The receivables product is now branded “AR Collections”, and a site-wide banner promotes “Sequence Labs”.

The pricing question this raises: a billing vendor has added an autonomous agent layer that does the metered work, yet still charges a revenue-banded platform fee with no per-agent, per-task or per-invoice meter attached. The agent capability is currently absorbed into the existing tier price rather than sold as an AI upsell.

AI agent layer ships with no new SKU — prices unchanged

Sequence rebuilt the product around agents (AR agent, reconciliation, invoice review, quote approvals, payment reminders, contract intake) with the Watchtower review console and per-agent guardrails, added Sequence MCP (2026-06-23) and the AR Agent (2026-07-14) per its changelog, rebranded receivables as 'AR Collections' and banner-promoted 'Sequence Labs'. The pricing page did not move: Growth is still $799 per month (under $1m in annual revenue), Core ($1–10m) and Scale ($10m+) remain bespoke platform fees on projected billed revenue, and the same three add-ons apply, with the quote builder and revenue-recognition modules still listed in the FAQ as 'starting at $499/month'. No per-agent, per-task or per-invoice AI meter was introduced.
