Suno caps commercial-use rights to a monthly Download allotment

Suno pricing

Suno now caps commercial-use rights to a monthly Download allotment: 20/month on Pro, 60/month on Premier, replacing unlimited rights during a subscription.

Before

Commercial-use rights were granted to all Output generated during an active Pro or Premier subscription, with no separate download cap (Terms of Service, Date of Last Revision: March 26, 2026).

After

Commercial exploitation requires an approved monthly Download of the Output; the pricing page now discloses '20 song downloads per month' on Pro and '60 song downloads per month' on Premier (0 on Free).

Suno’s Terms of Service (Effective Date: September 3, 2026) introduces a “Permitted Commercial Use” mechanic that did not exist in the prior (March 2026) Terms: “you may not commercially exploit Output that has not been downloaded by you through an approved channel under these Terms of Service,” and “the number of Downloads you are permitted per month depends on your service tier.”

The pricing page now states those caps directly on each plan card — “20 song downloads per month” (Pro) and “60 song downloads per month” (Premier), with “No monthly song downloads” on Free. Suno also re-tiered stem separation (Pro: 2 types; Premier: 3, including an “Advanced split” Pro lacks) and expanded Premier’s Suno Studio description to include MIDI, effects, automation, and design-your-own-plugins. Headline subscription prices are unchanged: Free $0, Pro $10/mo ($8/mo annual), Premier $30/mo ($24/mo annual).

Commercial-use rights capped to monthly Download allotments

Suno's Terms of Service (Effective September 3, 2026) replaced the prior 'commercial use granted for the term of your paid subscription' language with a 'Permitted Commercial Use' mechanic: you may not commercially exploit an Output that has not been obtained through an approved monthly 'Download,' and the number of Downloads per month depends on tier. The pricing page now discloses those caps directly on the plan cards — '20 song downloads per month' on Pro and '60 song downloads per month' on Premier (0 on Free) — alongside a re-tiered stem-separation feature (Pro: 2 stem-separation types; Premier: 3 types, including an 'Advanced split' Pro lacks — previously both tiers listed an identical 'up to 12 stems' entitlement) and an expanded Suno Studio description on Premier ('now with MIDI, effects, automation, and design-your-own-plugins'). Headline subscription prices are unchanged: Free $0, Pro $10/mo ($8/mo annual), Premier $30/mo ($24/mo annual).
