GLM-5.3 and GLM-5.3-Flash launch as Zhipu delists GLM-5-Turbo and Vidu video SKUs
Zhipu's docs pricing page added GLM-5.3 ($1.4 in/$4.4 out per 1M tokens) and a 50%-off GLM-5.3-Flash, while removing GLM-5-Turbo, GLM-5V-Turbo, and all Vidu Q1/Vidu 2 video SKUs from the price card.
Price card topped out at GLM-5.2 ($1.4/$4.4) with GLM-5-Turbo ($1.2/$4.0) and GLM-5V-Turbo ($1.2/$4) also listed; video generation included Vidu Q1 and Vidu 2 SKUs at $0.2-$0.4/video alongside CogVideoX-3.
GLM-5.3 ($1.4/$4.4) and GLM-5.3-Flash (list $0.15 in/$0.03 cached/$0.50 out) join the Latest Models table; GLM-5-Turbo, GLM-5V-Turbo and all Vidu video SKUs are gone; video generation now lists only CogVideoX-3 ($0.2/video).
Z.ai’s developer docs pricing page added a new “Latest Models” table headed by GLM-5.3 and a native-multimodal GLM-5.3-Flash sibling (previously tested internally as “OX Alpha”). Z.ai’s own page copy states: “GLM-5.3-Flash is available at a 50% discount (strikethrough prices are list prices). The promotion ends at 24:00 on September 9, 2026 (UTC+8, Singapore time).” That puts GLM-5.3-Flash at an effective $0.075 input / $0.015 cached input / $0.25 output per 1M tokens against a $0.15 / $0.03 / $0.50 list. In the same refresh, GLM-5-Turbo and GLM-5V-Turbo disappeared from the Text and Vision tables entirely, and the Video Generation Models table dropped every Vidu Q1 and Vidu 2 line, leaving CogVideoX-3 as the only priced video SKU.
The GLM Coding Plan moves from a quarterly ~$10/$30/$80-a-month card to list prices of $18 (Lite), $72 (Pro) and $160 (Max) per month, with a billing-term discount ladder — monthly −10% ($16.2/$64.8/$144), quarterly −20% ($14.4/$57.6/$128), yearly −30% ($12.6/$50.4/$112). Quotas are restated as relative multiples (Pro = 5x Lite usage, Max = 20x Lite usage) instead of prompts-per-5-hours. In parallel the docs price card adds a premium top end — GLM-5.2 and GLM-5.1 at $1.4 in / $4.4 out, GLM-5 at $1 / $3.2, GLM-5-Turbo at $1.2 / $4.0, GLM-4.5-X at $2.2 / $8.9 — plus per-image, per-video, per-use web search and per-agent SKUs.
