Widn.ai decommissioned, replaced by GlobalLink Now
Unbabel's self-serve AI-translation product Widn.ai is scheduled to be decommissioned on 2026-08-27 and replaced by TransPerfect's GlobalLink Now. Widn.ai was Unbabel's only public price ladder (Free / $19 / $90 / Custom); its retirement returns the company to a fully sales-gated posture under the GlobalLink brand following the August 2025 TransPerfect acquisition.
Unbabel’s Widn.ai pricing page carries a live banner: “The Widn platform will be decommissioned on August 27th, 2026 and replaced by GlobalLink Now,” directing interested users to [email protected] and support to [email protected]. Widn.ai (launched 2024-11-13, TowerLLM-powered) was the transparent counterpart to Unbabel’s gated enterprise LangOps platform, publishing tiers at Free / $19/mo / $90/mo / Custom. Following TransPerfect’s August 2025 acquisition of Unbabel, the underlying TowerLLM and COMET technology is being folded into TransPerfect’s GlobalLink stack, and the standalone Widn.ai brand is being retired — ending Unbabel’s only public pricing surface roughly 21 months after it launched.
