Bright Data adds a free tier and collapses its scraping-API pricing to Free/Scale
Bright Data restructured Web Unlocker, SERP API, and Web Scraper API from a four-tier committed ladder to a Free / PAYG / Scale / Enterprise model, adding a recurring 5,000-results/month free tier (no card) and dropping the old $1.1 and $1.0 per-1k committed rates.
Web Unlocker & SERP API billed on a four-tier ladder — PAYG $1.5/1k, then $1.3 ($499/mo), $1.1 ($999/mo), $1.0 ($1,999/mo), plus Enterprise; Web Scraper API offered a one-week, 1,000-record one-time free trial.
Web Unlocker, SERP, and Web Scraper share a Free / PAYG / Scale / Enterprise ladder: a recurring 5,000-results/month free tier (no card), $1.5/1k PAYG, a single $499/mo Scale tier (~380-384k included, $1.3/1k overage), and Enterprise by quote. Scraping Functions kept the old $1.5 -> $1.0 four-tier ladder.
By the 2026-07-14 capture of brightdata.com/pricing/*, three of Bright Data’s request-metered products — Web Unlocker, SERP API, and Web Scraper API — were unified onto a single Free / PAYG / Scale / Enterprise structure. The change adds a genuinely recurring free tier (5,000 results or records per month, no credit card) in place of the previous one-week trial, and removes the intermediate $1.1 and $1.0 per-1k committed rates, so the lowest publicly listed marginal rate on these products is now $1.3/1k (Scale-tier overage). Scraping Functions, the Browser API, and the proxy networks were not restructured and kept their existing rates.
Web Unlocker, SERP API, and Web Scraper API were restructured from a four-tier committed ladder to a Free / PAYG / Scale / Enterprise model: a new recurring 5,000-results/month free tier (no card), $1.5/1k PAYG, and a single $499/mo Scale tier (~380–384k included, $1.3/1k overage) — dropping the old $1.1 and $1.0 committed rates. Separately, Bright Insights list prices jumped: eCommerce Tracker from $250→$2,000/mo and Sales & Market Share from $400→$2,000/mo. Proxy per-GB/per-IP rates, Scraping Functions, Browser API, and Datasets were unchanged; 50% residential (RESIGB50) and 25% Scraper (APIS25) promos still live.
