Diffbot adds a Web Search API, bundled into every existing plan
Diffbot relaunched its pricing page with a new Web Search API (1 credit per query) folded into the same all-APIs entitlement as Extract, Natural Language, and Knowledge Graph on every tier; headline plan prices are unchanged.
Four core products (Extract, Crawl, Natural Language, Knowledge Graph) across Free ($0), Startup ($299/mo), Plus ($899/mo), and custom Enterprise; Enterprise contact ran through a dedicated /demo request form.
Web Search added as a fifth product, billed at 1 credit/query and bundled into the existing 'all four APIs included' entitlement on every tier (Crawl remains gated to Plus and above); Free/Startup/Plus/Enterprise prices unchanged; the Enterprise 'Talk to Sales' CTA now opens a pre-filled mailto link instead of a demo-request form.
Diffbot rebuilt its marketing site in place for its August 2026 relaunch — a dark-themed, docs-style redesign with a new interactive cost-estimator calculator at the top of the pricing page. The most consequential change for buyers is packaging, not price: a new Web Search API (an ads-free, API-first search product) now ships as a fifth product under the credit meter, priced at 1 credit per query — the same rate as a page extraction — and it’s bundled into the existing “all four APIs included” entitlement alongside Extract, Natural Language, and Knowledge Graph on every plan, including the free tier. Crawl remains the sole feature gated to the $899/mo Plus tier and above.
None of Diffbot’s headline prices moved: Free is still $0/mo (10,000 credits), Startup is still $299/mo (250,000 credits), Plus is still $899/mo (1,000,000 credits), and Enterprise is still custom-quoted — anchors that have now held since 2016. The company also swapped its Enterprise contact motion: the old dedicated /demo request-form page has been retired (it now redirects into a general Support page), and the pricing page’s “Talk to Sales” button opens a pre-filled mailto:[email protected] link instead.
Diffbot rebuilt its marketing site (dark-theme, docs-style nav, new URL structure) and shipped a new interactive cost-estimator calculator on the pricing page. A Web Search API launched, billed at 1 credit/search and bundled into the same 'four APIs included' entitlement as Extract, Natural Language, and Knowledge Graph on every plan (Crawl stays gated to Plus+). Free ($0, 10K credits), Startup ($299/mo, 250K credits), Plus ($899/mo, 1M credits), and Enterprise (custom) headline prices are unchanged. The Enterprise 'Talk to Sales' CTA now opens a mailto link instead of a dedicated /demo request form.
