Dust splits action credits into a third, explicit free tier

Dust pricing

Dust's credit docs now show three action-credit tiers instead of two: a new Free (0-credit) tier explicitly covers memory, agent routing, common utilities, most orchestration helpers, skills management, and most Pods/Files actions.

Before

Two tiers — Basic (1 credit: web search, agent routing, memory, platform utilities) and Advanced (3 credits: data retrieval, connectors, file/image generation, external MCP) — with a separate, contradictory note that routing/memory/utilities were actually exempt from action credits.

After

Three tiers — Free (0 credit: memory, agent routing, common utilities, most orchestration helpers, skills management, most Pods/Files actions), Basic (1 credit: run agent/schedule, web search, Frame editing, Pods creation, analytics), and Advanced (3 credits: knowledge retrieval, frame creation, output generation, all external MCP/3rd-party integrations).

What these images do and don't show
  • These prices come from our capture alone — they were not confirmed against an independent second source.

Both images are our own captures, taken on the dates shown. The pixels are unmodified — nothing is retouched, and where a region is highlighted the marker is drawn over the image, not into it. Open either capture to see it at full resolution.

Dust’s public credits documentation was rewritten to resolve an internal inconsistency: the prior two-tier table listed agent routing, memory, and platform utilities under the paid “Basic” tier (1 credit), while a separate line item said those same actions were exempt from action credits entirely. The new three-tier breakdown resolves this by carving out an explicit Free (0-credit) tier and additionally categorizes newer capabilities — Skills management, Pods actions, and Analytics — that weren’t itemized in the credit-tier table before. No seat price changed: Free/Pro/Max ($0 / $30–24 / $150–120 per seat-month) are unaffected. The earliest capture showing the new three-tier language is 2026-07-23; the full table content was confirmed in later captures (2026-07-30, 2026-08-05).

Pricing overhaul — credit-metered Free/Pro/Max seats replace flat €29 Pro

Dust replaced the flat €29/seat unlimited-fair-use model with a USD, credit-metered structure. The Business plan (teams up to 100) now has three seat types: Free ($0, 500 credits one-time), Pro ($30/seat/mo or $24 yearly, 8,000 credits/mo), and Max ($150/seat/mo or $120 yearly, 40,000 credits/mo). Credits = token credits + action credits (Basic 1, Advanced 3); programmatic/API usage billed at $0.01/credit. Enterprise gains workspace-pooled credits + volume pricing. First public free tier.
