Factory renames Teams to Business and moves audit logging down a tier

Factory pricing

Factory's custom-quoted mid tier is now called Business and gains audit logging plus network policy, both previously Enterprise-only. Seat prices unchanged.

Before

Teams (up to 150 seats) with SSO, SAML/SCIM, ZDR and basic admin controls; audit logging and activity trails were Enterprise-only.

After

Business (up to 150 seats) adds audit logging and activity trails plus network policy to its basic admin controls; Enterprise now itemizes sub-organizations, customer-managed encryption keys and data residency.

Factory’s self-serve ladder is untouched — Pro is still $20/mo, Plus $100/mo and Max $200/mo per seat, with usage gated by per-tier rolling rate limits rather than a token meter. The change is entirely in the custom-quoted band above it.

The fourth plan card, previously labelled “Teams”, now reads “Business”, and its entitlement list has grown: audit logging and activity trails moved down from Enterprise, and network policy joined the basic admin controls (model selection, autonomy level, model access controls and org-level deny lists). Enterprise compensates by naming features that were previously folded into a single “full admin controls” parenthetical — sub-organizations, customer-managed encryption keys and data residency now appear as discrete bullets.

The practical effect is that a mid-market buyer who needs an activity record no longer has to reach for an Enterprise contract to get one.

From Factory's pricing timeline
Teams renamed Business; audit logging moves down a tier

Seat prices held at Pro $20 / Plus $100 / Max $200 per month, but the custom-quoted mid tier was renamed from Teams to Business and gained entitlements previously reserved for Enterprise: audit logging and activity trails, plus network policy inside its basic admin controls. Enterprise now itemizes sub-organizations, customer-managed encryption keys, and data residency as named features. Packaging-only: no billing unit, meter or list price changed, but the fence between the two custom-quoted bands moved from observability to data sovereignty.
