Gumloop drops its credit-volume slider for a flat $37 Pro plan, adds an 8% orchestration fee
Gumloop replaced its $37-$1,840 credit-volume slider with one flat $37/mo Pro plan, added a new 8% agent orchestration fee (16% with BYOK), and re-capped overage after a March 2026 unlimited-by-default policy.
Pro was an interactive slider from $37/mo (20k credits) to $1,840/mo (1M credits), with a Monthly/Annual toggle saving 20%, and overage defaulted to unlimited (Enterprise-configurable cap).
Pro is a flat $37/mo for 20,000 credits with no annual option; agent chats now carry a new 8% Orchestration Fee (16% with BYOK) on top of Chat & Reasoning, Tool Call, and Compute credits; overage must be manually enabled and is capped at 1,000,000 credits/billing period ($5,000) by default.
Gumloop’s /pricing page dropped the interactive “how many credits do you need per month?” slider it had run since the March 2026 repackaging, replacing the 14-step $37-to-$1,840 price ladder with a single fixed $37/mo Pro price for 20,000 credits/month. The Monthly/Annual billing toggle (previously a 20% annual discount) is also gone — no self-serve annual option remains. Gumloop’s docs now disclose a new Orchestration Fee: agent chats are billed as the sum of Chat & Reasoning, Tool Calls, Compute, and Workflows credits, plus a fee of 8% of the first three for “running the agent loop itself.” Bringing your own API key (BYOK) zeroes out the Chat & Reasoning credits but raises the Orchestration Fee to 16%, calculated against what the run would otherwise have cost. Separately, Gumloop’s docs now state that Pro overage must be manually enabled on the Subscription page and, once on, is capped at 1,000,000 overage credits per billing period ($5,000) by default — reversing the “Plans now default to unlimited overages” policy the company’s changelog announced on 2026-03-19. Enterprise remains a custom-quoted plan with credit rollover and a configurable or uncapped overage limit. The change was first observed on a 2026-08-26 capture of gumloop.com/pricing and docs.gumloop.com/core-concepts/credits, against a 2026-07-30 baseline capture showing the slider, the Annual toggle, and no orchestration fee.
Live capture shows the permanent Free plan ($0/mo, 5,000 credits) is no longer listed on the pricing page. Pro now leads with a 14-day free trial instead, shown only on monthly billing (the Annually toggle shows no trial CTA and goes straight to a paid 'Select Plan' button). The Pro slider curve itself ($37/20k -> $1,840/1M monthly, x0.8 annual) is unchanged.
