Jotform AI Agents launches with no SKU of its own — six new caps inside the existing plan
Jotform shipped AI Agents onto the same Starter / Bronze / Silver / Gold / Enterprise ladder at the same prices. Instead of a credit pool or a per-conversation rate, the launch added six capped meters — agents, monthly conversations, monthly sessions, voice-call minutes, SMS and knowledge-base characters — to a subscription that did not change price. The only separately-billed element is an optional Dedicated Phone Number Add-On.
A four-meter-plus plan card with no AI line at all: forms, monthly submissions, form views, upload space, total submission storage, fields per form, payment submissions and signed documents, at $34 / $39 / $99 per month billed annually.
The same four prices, plus a dedicated AI Agents pricing page re-using the identical ladder and, from May 2025, an 'AI Agent Limits' drawer on the main plan card carrying 5 / 25 / 50 / 100 agents, 100 / 1,000 / 2,500 / 10,000 monthly conversations, 10,000 / 100,000 / 1,000,000 / 2,000,000 monthly sessions, 50 / 100 / 200 / 300 voice-call minutes, 250 / 300 / 500 / 750 monthly SMS and 10M / 20M / 50M / 100M knowledge-base characters.
Jotform launched AI Agents on 25 February 2025 and priced it by not pricing it. The product got its own page at jotform.com/ai/agents/pricing/, but that page re-uses the same five plan names and the same four prices as the main pricing table. Jotform’s own launch post answers the question directly: “Are Jotform AI Agents free to use? Yes. However, there are applicable limits on the number of agents, conversations, and sessions based on your Jotform plan.”
That is a deliberate and unusual choice for the 2025 cohort. Most vendors shipping an agent in the same window either sold it as a separate seat, metered it in credits, or charged per resolution. Jotform absorbed the inference cost onto an unchanged subscription and expressed it as six more ceilings — which bounds the exposure, because a capped meter cannot generate an unbounded model bill.
Two mechanics are worth flagging for buyers. First, the binding meter is usually sessions, not conversations: Jotform’s FAQ defines a session as covering “chatbot views, page refreshes, and phone call starts, even if no active user interaction occurs”, so a widget mounted site-wide burns the counter on traffic the agent never speaks to. Second, the Monthly Voice Call allowance is shared between web voice calls and calls placed through a dedicated phone number, and it is the one AI meter that stays finite even on Enterprise (1,000 minutes), alongside SMS (1,000).
The only separately-billed AI item is the Dedicated Phone Number Add-On, a recurring monthly or yearly subscription available on every plan including the free Starter tier, with numbers available in the United States, United Kingdom and Canada. Its price does not appear on either pricing page.
By the 2025-05-06 snapshot the six AI meters had been folded into a collapsible AI Agent Limits drawer on the main plan card, completing the absorption: one subscription, one price, fourteen simultaneous caps.
The AI Agents product ships with its own pricing page at jotform.com/ai/agents/pricing/ that re-uses the same Starter / Bronze / Silver / Gold / Enterprise ladder and the same prices. Jotform's own announcement answers the question directly: Are Jotform AI Agents free to use? Yes. However, there are applicable limits on the number of agents, conversations, and sessions based on your Jotform plan. The only separately-billed element is a Dedicated Phone Number Add-On. The AI meter values in force at launch are not recoverable and are recorded as unknown.
