LiveKit Inference adds two STT SKUs as xAI rebrands to SpaceXAI

LiveKit added two new speech-to-text models to the LiveKit Inference catalog, the single-API-key LLM/STT/TTS service billed per minute of model time against each Cloud plan’s credit allotment. Google Gemini 3.5 Transcribe Live joins at $0.0095/min and Speechmatics Linden-1 at $0.0050/min — both priced identically on Build/Ship and Scale, joining Speechmatics Standard, AssemblyAI and xAI/SpaceXAI’s existing STT entries as models without a Scale discount.

Alongside the new SKUs, the catalog’s vendor label for xAI’s models — the Grok LLM family plus its Speech to Text and Text to Speech entries — now reads “SpaceXAI” instead of “xAI” across LLM, STT and TTS pricing tables. No per-model rate changed for the renamed vendor. No LiveKit Cloud plan price, allotment or overage rate moved: Build is still free, Ship starts at $50/mo, Scale at $500/mo, and Enterprise remains custom-quoted. This is at least the seventh LiveKit Inference catalog update since 2026-07-21, continuing the pattern of LiveKit restocking its model catalog on a roughly weekly-to-biweekly cadence without touching Cloud plan pricing.
