The module previously read only “if it works out, we’ll pay you a referral bonus” with no amount shown; as of this capture it is headlined “Earn up to $100K per referral” and includes a new expandable “How it works” panel spelling out three steps: refer a company, they onboard (Mercor handles outreach, the agreement, and the data pipeline end to end), and the referrer is paid once the referred company’s own payout settles.
This is notable less for the dollar amount than for the pattern break: Mercor is the corpus’s clearest example of a marketplace that publishes payouts while gating the buyer-side price, and until now its referral incentive was one of the few payout-side numbers it also kept vague. Disclosing a concrete $100K cap brings the referral program in line with the rest of the payout-side transparency (talent hourly rates, daily payout totals, integration counts) while the buyer-side take-rate remains fully undisclosed on every surface.
