Modal quintuples Team plan container concurrency to 5,000
Modal raised its Team plan's container concurrency limit from 1,000 to 5,000 (5x) at the unchanged $250/month plus compute price, boosting included capacity without touching the rate card.
Team plan ($250/mo + compute, $100/mo credits): 1,000 container concurrency, 50 GPU concurrency, unlimited seats.
Team plan ($250/mo + compute, $100/mo credits): 5,000 container concurrency, 50 GPU concurrency, unlimited seats — all other Team entitlements unchanged.
Modal’s pricing and compare-features pages now list 5,000 containers for the Team tier, up from the 1,000 figure captured in prior checks — a straight 5x increase in included concurrency at no price change. GPU concurrency (50), the $250/month plan fee, and the $100/month credit grant all held steady, as did Starter’s 100-container cap and Enterprise’s custom limits. The pricing-page banner also now reads “Try the new Shared Endpoint with token-based pricing” rather than “Shared API,” though the underlying blog post announcing Kimi K3 support still uses “Shared API” and per-token rates remain unpublished — a naming inconsistency on Modal’s own site rather than a confirmed product rename.
Modal raised Team plan container concurrency from 1,000 to 5,000 — a 5x increase — with no change to the $250/month + compute plan fee. The pricing page also itemized previously-generic Team-tier features (custom domains, static IP proxy, deployment rollbacks, Environment- level budgets, RBAC) and clarified that private Slack support is Enterprise-only; Team and Starter both get Community Slack access.
