Tavus retires the public PALs consumer price list; /pals/pricing now redirects to developer pricing

Tavus pricing

Tavus pulled published pricing for PALs, its consumer AI-companion product. tavus.io/pals/pricing now 301-redirects to the developer pricing page and no Tavus surface lists the consumer plans.

Before

tavus.io/pals/pricing published a three-tier consumer ladder (Free / Plus / Max) gated by 15, 150 and 500 voice-and-video call minutes, with a PALs entry in the top nav.

After

tavus.io/pals/pricing 301-redirects to tavus.io/pricing. The /pals product page shows no dollar figure and the nav is restructured to Products / Solutions / API Platform.

Tavus has withdrawn public pricing for PALs, the consumer AI-companion product it launched alongside its developer platform. The dedicated consumer pricing page at tavus.io/pals/pricing now returns a 301 redirect to tavus.io/pricing, the developer Conversational Video Interface plan page. The /pals product page still loads and the product is still shipping — there is an iOS app, a PAL Maker builder, and a PALs help centre — but the page carries no dollar figure, and the only pricing link on it points back to the developer plans.

The site’s top navigation was restructured in the same change: the former PALs / Get Access / Developers entries have been replaced with Products / Solutions / API Platform, removing the consumer product’s dedicated navigation path. Developer pricing is unaffected — Free, Starter $22, Builder $59, Growth $397, Business $975 and Enterprise all remain published with their per-minute overage rates intact.

For buyers, the practical effect is that Tavus’s price transparency is now split: the developer API is fully public down to the per-minute rate, while consumer plan pricing is discoverable only inside the app or app store. It also removes the clearest public example of Tavus running one value metric — the conversation minute — two opposite ways, as an uncapped developer overage and a flat consumer allowance.

PALs price list withdrawn; intro discount moves from Starter to Builder

Tavus stopped publishing consumer PALs prices — tavus.io/pals/pricing now 301-redirects to the developer pricing page and the /pals product page carries no dollar figure — leaving the developer CVI plans as the only listed prices. On the same page, the '50% off first month' promo moved up a rung from the $22 Starter to the $59 Builder tier ($29 first month), and Starter's price card was relabelled 'No pay as you go coverage'. List prices and all per-minute rates are unchanged.

About Tavus
tavus.io ↗

Tavus prices its Conversational Video Interface (CVI) API as a hybrid: a monthly access fee (Free, Starter $22/mo, Builder $59/mo, Growth $397/mo, Business $975/mo, Enterprise custom) bundles included video minutes, then bills uncapped pay-as-you-go beyond the allowance on Builder and above; the Free and $22 Starter plans carry no pay-as-you-go rate at all, so their included minutes act as a hard cap rather than a bucket.
