Cursor cuts GPT-5.6 Luna and Terra rates in its Other Models pool
Cursor repriced two third-party models in its Other Models token pool: GPT-5.6 Luna fell about 80% and GPT-5.6 Terra about 20% across input, cache, and output rates, while GPT-5.6 Sol held steady.

Cursor’s docs page for Models & Pricing now shows lower per-million-token rates for two of the three GPT-5.6 variants billed through the “Other Models” usage pool. GPT-5.6 Luna — the cheapest of the three — dropped roughly 80% across every dimension (input, cache write, cache read, output), while GPT-5.6 Terra dropped about 20%. GPT-5.6 Sol, the priciest of the three, was unchanged. All other model rates (Grok 4.5, Composer 2.5, the Claude and Gemini lines, Auto Cost) and the Pro / Pro Plus / Ultra / Teams plan prices held steady. The docs also added a new caveat: Cursor’s India-only Start plan now explicitly runs both Cursor Models in non-fast mode, with Grok 4.5 fixed at a medium effort level.
