AI Gateway supports 4 providers (Anthropic, Gemini, OpenAI, OpenRouter); OpenRouter alone adds 161 models, confirmed by both the docs.netlify.com AI features pricing table and a new netlify.com/pricing announcement banner reading 'DeepSeek, Qwen, Kimi and hundreds of open models now available.'

Between the 2026-08-14 and 2026-08-25 captures of Netlify’s pricing and AI-features-docs surfaces, Netlify added OpenRouter as a fourth AI provider behind its AI Gateway and Agent Runners. The AI features pricing docs (docs.netlify.com) now list 161 OpenRouter-routed models spanning DeepSeek, Qwen, Kimi, Llama, GLM, Grok (xAI), Mistral, Perplexity Sonar, and dozens of smaller open-weight and third-party models — none of which appeared in the 2026-08-14 capture. The main netlify.com/pricing page independently corroborates the launch with a new top-of-page announcement banner: “DeepSeek, Qwen, Kimi and hundreds of open models now available.”
Each OpenRouter model bills through the same metering mechanism Netlify already uses for Anthropic, Gemini, and OpenAI: the provider’s USD token cost is converted to credits at a fixed 180-credits-per-$1 rate, drawn from the same plan credit pool. There is no separate OpenRouter credit pool, plan tier, or markup disclosed. All of Netlify’s own plan prices (Free $0, Personal $9, Pro $20, Enterprise Custom) and the 180-credits-per-$1 conversion were unchanged.
