Paycom launches IWant, its third unmetered AI product — and leaves it out of the pricing matrix

Paycom pricing

IWant is a command-driven AI search engine over the single employee record. It appears in the HR Management navigation but in none of the five Core-vs-Complete matrices, so Paycom's pricing page does not say whether it is a Core inclusion, a Complete inclusion or a separate line. Its ROI headline ships with no disclosed range.

Before

Paycom's AI surface was Beti (in Core, unmetered) and GONE (Complete-only, unmetered). Ask Here, an AI-assisted HR help desk, had been enhanced in May 2025.

After

IWant joins the HR Management suite as a command-driven AI search engine. The HR Management Core-vs-Complete matrix lists 18 rows and IWant is not one of them; nor does it appear in any of the other four matrices.

IWant is the third Paycom AI product in four years and the third with no meter attached, but it is the first that the pricing page declines to place.

Paycom’s pricing page resolves every product line into a Core-vs-Complete matrix — 46 rows across five suites. IWant appears in Paycom’s site navigation under HR Management, immediately above Direct Data Exchange and Manager on-the-Go, both of which do appear in the matrix. IWant does not. The page therefore gives a buyer no way to tell whether the AI search layer is included in the minimum package, gated behind Complete, or sold separately. Paycom publishes no other surface on which to check: there is no rate card, no client help centre and no published services agreement.

The ROI marketing moved in the wrong direction between GONE and IWant. The GONE page headlines “up to 821%” and its footnote discloses the range behind it: 102% to 821%. The IWant page headlines “UP TO 431%” projected three-year ROI and “UP TO $141,000”, and its footnote reads only “A commissioned study conducted by Forrester Consulting on behalf of Paycom, February 2026. Results are for a composite organization based on interviewed customers.” No range, no floor, no composite parameters.

A separate press release, “New study finds Paycom’s IWant has delivered significant ROI”, is dated 12 February 2026 and corresponds to that study.

From Paycom's pricing timeline
IWant launches with an ROI headline and no disclosed range

Paycom unveiled IWant, a command-driven AI search engine inside the HR Management suite. The product page headlines UP TO 431% projected three-year ROI and UP TO $141,000, sourced to a commissioned Forrester study of a composite organisation. Unlike the GONE claim, the IWant footnote discloses no range around the figure. IWant does not appear in the Core-vs-Complete matrix at all.
