Tavus expands developer CVI ladder from 4 to 6 tiers, adds $22 Starter and $975 Business
Tavus restructured its developer Conversational Video Interface plans into six tiers — adding a $22/mo Starter entry plan and a $975/mo Business tier, renaming the old $59 plan to Builder, and cutting per-minute overage rates.

Tavus broadened its self-serve developer pricing ladder for the Conversational Video Interface (CVI) API from four tiers to six. A new Starter plan lands at $22/mo (60 included conversation minutes, 1 custom replica slot, with “50% off first month”), sitting below the renamed Builder plan at $59/mo (175 minutes — up from the 100 minutes the old $59 Starter included). A new Business plan at $975/mo (4,000 minutes, 15 concurrent sessions, priority support + 1:1 onboarding) fills the gap between Growth and Enterprise.
Per-minute pay-as-you-go overage rates were also recut and now fall further with scale: CVI overage is $0.35/min on Builder, $0.31/min on Growth, and $0.26/min on Business (versus the prior $0.37 Starter / $0.32 Growth). Video-generation overage is $1 / $0.90 / $0.80 per minute across Builder / Growth / Business. Growth’s included CVI minutes ticked up from 1,250 to 1,300, and the Free tier now lists 20 minutes (down from 25) with 42+ languages. The pricing page also documents that conversation minutes are billed in 6-second increments with a 30-second minimum charge per conversation. PALs consumer plans (Free / Plus $20 / Max $50) are unchanged.
