Tavus's standalone PALs marketing page goes 404, folding the consumer product back into the developer site

Tavus pricing

Tavus's dedicated tavus.io/pals landing page now returns a branded 404 on both the bare and www domains, after carrying no list prices as recently as July 29 — the PAL Maker tool and PAL-related FAQ entries stay live on the developer pricing page.

Before

tavus.io/pals (and www.tavus.io/pals) resolved with product copy for the PALs consumer AI-companion app, but no list prices, as of the 2026-07-29 capture.

After

tavus.io/pals and www.tavus.io/pals both return Tavus's own branded 404 page as of 2026-08-28; tavus.io/pals/pricing still 301-redirects into the developer pricing page rather than resolving on its own.

Tavus’s consumer-facing PALs product page has gone from “live but priceless” to gone entirely. As of the 2026-07-29 capture, tavus.io/pals still rendered PALs product copy with no dollar figure on it — consistent with the company’s July 2026 decision to stop publishing consumer subscription prices. As of the 2026-08-28 capture, both tavus.io/pals and www.tavus.io/pals return Tavus’s own branded 404 page (“THE PAGE YOU ARE ARE LOOKING FOR DOESN’T EXIST OR HAS BEEN MOVED”), confirmed independently via manual curl (the bare domain 301-redirects to www.tavus.io/pals, which itself 404s, with a last-modified header of 2026-08-27 on the 404 response itself).

The PALs product does not appear to be discontinued outright: tavus.io/pal-maker and help.tavus.io both remain live, and the developer pricing page itself still invites visitors to “Spin up your first PAL in under 5 minutes” and answers “What’s a custom PAL face?” in its FAQ. What disappeared is the dedicated consumer marketing/pricing surface — the one place a buyer could learn about PALs as a standalone product — while the underlying PAL-creation tooling stays folded into the developer site. Tavus’s separate Startups & Grants program page (tavus.io/startups) remains 404 as well, a state first observed on 2026-07-29 and reconfirmed today. No developer CVI list price, included-minute allowance, or per-minute overage rate changed in this capture.

From Tavus's pricing timeline
Standalone PALs marketing page goes fully 404

tavus.io/pals and www.tavus.io/pals — still live with product copy but no price as of 2026-07-29 — now both return Tavus's own branded 404 page, while tavus.io/pals/pricing continues to redirect into developer pricing rather than resolving on its own. PAL Maker and help.tavus.io remain live, so this reads as the standalone consumer marketing surface being pulled rather than PALs itself being discontinued. No developer CVI list price or overage rate changed.

About Tavus
tavus.io ↗

Tavus prices its Conversational Video Interface (CVI) API as a hybrid: a monthly access fee (Free, Starter $22/mo, Builder $59/mo, Growth $397/mo, Business $975/mo, Enterprise custom) bundles included video minutes, then bills uncapped pay-as-you-go beyond the allowance on Builder and above; the Free and $22 Starter plans carry no pay-as-you-go rate at all, so their included minutes act as a hard cap rather than a bucket.
