Tavus drops the Builder plan's 'first month 50% off' promo eight days after adding it
Tavus removed the introductory discount it had just added to its Builder developer plan on July 21 — the tier now shows a plain $59/mo, and no tier on the pricing page carries a promo badge.
Builder $59/mo showed 'First month 50% off' with a struck-through list price against a discounted month-one rate, added 2026-07-21.
Builder's card and the Compare Plans matrix header both show a plain $59/mo; no tier currently displays an introductory discount.
Eight days after moving its “50% off first month” promo up from the Starter tier to the Most Popular Builder plan, Tavus pulled the discount entirely. The Builder card and the Compare Plans matrix header, which on 2026-07-21 showed $59/mo struck through against a discounted introductory month-one price, both now display a plain $59/mo with no promo badge — and no other tier on the page shows an introductory discount either.
No developer list price, included-minute allowance, or per-minute overage rate changed alongside the promo’s removal (Free / Starter $22 / Builder $59 / Growth $397 / Business $975 / Enterprise remain the six published tiers). The net effect is that a buyer signing up for Builder today pays the full $59 for month one, versus the discounted rate a prospect saw just over a week earlier — a short-lived promotion that came and went inside a single reporting cycle.
The 'First month 50% off' promo Tavus had just moved to Builder on 2026-07-21 is gone eight days later — Builder's card and the Compare Plans matrix both show a plain $59/mo with no discount badge on any tier. Separately, tavus.io/startups now returns Tavus's own branded 404 page and the nav carries no link to a replacement. List prices, included minutes, and per-minute overage rates are unchanged.
