15Five ships Agents free inside Perform and pre-authorises a per-run fee
15Five launched its Context Layer and Agents at no additional cost inside the Perform tier, under terms reserving the right to charge for them at renewal, priced per user or per Agent run.

15Five Agents, Focus Briefs, Context Layer and work-system integrations included in Perform at no additional charge, with fees reserved for a future renewal
15Five’s June 2026 release added the Context Layer — shared data infrastructure combining performance data, work signals from Slack, Teams, Jira, Asana and Google Calendar, and customer-supplied company context — plus the Agents that read from it. The pricing card and the help centre both state the layer and its integrations are included at no additional cost inside the Perform tier.
The Context Layer Additional Terms of Service published alongside it say something different about the future. They state that “nothing herein or Customer’s access to the Context Layer, Agents or any of its features shall be construed as a commitment by 15Five to provide such 15Five Materials at no charge indefinitely.”
The fee mechanism is specified in advance: “Fees for the Context Layer, Agents and any related features may be structured as a flat fee, on a per-user basis, based on usage or volume of workflow executions (i.e., the number of Agent runs initiated by or on behalf of Customer during a given period), or a combination thereof, as specified in the applicable Pricing Notice, Order Form, or 15Five’s pricing page.”
15Five must give 45 days’ written notice before a renewal term in which such fees first apply, and the terms treat a customer’s failure to give timely non-renewal notice as acceptance of the new fees. For a vendor that has never metered anything, the plumbing for a usage meter is now fully drafted.
