Greenhouse acquires Interseller, adding sourcing and outreach to the Greenhouse CRM
Greenhouse acquired Interseller to bring candidate sourcing and outreach in-house. The product became Greenhouse Sourcing Automation, but no consumption meter entered Greenhouse’s published contracts until November 2023.
Greenhouse announced the acquisition of Interseller on 28 October 2021, folding a standalone sourcing and outreach tool into the Greenhouse CRM so that customers could source candidates without leaving the ATS. Greenhouse disclosed no terms.
The pricing consequence took two years to show up. Interseller had been sold as a contact-lookup product, but the Greenhouse legal index carried only a Master Subscription Agreement and a Service Level Agreement until late 2023. The Sourcing Automation Addendum — the document that first ties the licence to “the number of users and the amount of candidate lookups specified in the applicable Order Form” — is dated 1 November 2023 and first appears on greenhouse.com/legal between the 17 October and 8 December 2023 Internet Archive captures.
That makes Sourcing Automation the origin of Greenhouse’s only long-running consumption meter, and it also shows how long an acquired usage-metered product can run inside a quote-only subscription before the meter is written down anywhere a customer can read it.

The product became Greenhouse Sourcing Automation — but no contractual usage meter accompanied the acquisition; the candidate-lookup meter only appears in Greenhouse's published terms two years later.
