Greenhouse completes the Ezra AI Labs acquisition; Voice AI becomes a separately subscribed product

Greenhouse announced its agreement to acquire Ezra AI Labs on 5 May 2026 and confirmed completion on 27 May 2026. No financial terms were disclosed. Ezra is a two-way voice AI interviewing platform used at the top of the funnel; Greenhouse’s release frames it as extending structured hiring to the first stage of the process, and states that Ezra continues as a standalone product for both Greenhouse customers and companies using other platforms.

Commercially, the important detail is that Voice AI never entered the Core, Plus and Pro plan table. It is sold separately, on the same demo-only motion as everything else. Greenhouse’s Voice AI Terms, dated “Last Updated: May 26, 2026” — one day before completion — define two shapes in Section 1(c): a “Bundled Configuration” purchased alongside a Greenhouse ATS subscription, and a “Standalone Configuration” that operates against a third-party applicant tracking system. Section 5A(f) confirms that the Standalone Configuration “does not require, and is not contingent upon” a Greenhouse SaaS subscription.

The Voice AI product page advertises availability for Greenhouse and Ashby, with Lever “coming soon” — so Greenhouse is now selling a product into the install base of two direct ATS competitors. Neither the Voice AI Terms nor the Greenhouse Notetaker Terms appear in the terms index archived on 23 April 2026, which brackets when both documents were added.
