Rippling renamed the Rippling Unity Platform to the Rippling Platform

Platform card labelled 'Rippling Platform'; the same FAQ answer reads '...alongside the core, required Rippling Platform...'. The card carries a 'Compare plans' link to the Core-versus-Pro tier matrix at /platform/tiers, which shows a feature grid and no prices.
The required platform base has been named on Rippling’s pricing page since the 2022-05-14 snapshot, when it appeared as “Rippling Unity”. The Unity wording survives on the 2025-12-15 snapshot and is gone by 2026-01-24, replaced by the plain “Rippling Platform”.
The mechanic is unchanged and is the load-bearing part: no HR, finance or IT product can be bought without the base underneath it, and neither the base nor its Core and Pro tiers carries a published price. What the rename does is remove the last piece of proprietary vocabulary a buyer could have searched for. “Rippling Unity Platform pricing” was at least a distinct query; “Rippling Platform pricing” resolves to the quote form.
