Pay As You Go per-job price rises from $50 to $99 a month
Workable's pay-as-you-go rate for a single job posting roughly doubled, from $50 per job per month to $99 per job per month, with no change to the unit being metered.
The 2018-06-26 pricing page describes Pay As You Go as 'A flexible, pay-as-you-go plan, $50 per job, per month, billed monthly.'
The 2019-08-16 pricing page prices the same plan at '$99 per job, per month' and describes it as 'Access essential recruiting features, only when you need them. Billed monthly, it's a flexible option priced perfectly for those with short-term or occasional hiring needs.'
The steepest single move in Workable’s archived price record, and it happened on the plan aimed at the smallest buyers. A company posting one role went from $50 a month to $99 a month for the same unit — one active job — with no repackaging to absorb the increase and no change to the meter.
The change is bounded between the 2018-06-26 and 2019-08-16 Internet Archive captures of workable.com/pricing. Workable published no announcement of it that the Archive retains, so the precise date is unverified.
The 2020-06-12 capture still carries $99 per job per month, and the 2021-08-04 capture shows the plan renamed “Paygo” at the same rate — so the $99 price held for at least two years after the increase.
The same unit — one active job for one month — goes from $50 to $99 with no repackaging around it. Bounded between the 2018-06-26 capture (still $50) and the 2019-08-16 capture ('$99 per job, per month'). The $99 rate is still on the page in the 2020-06-12 capture and again in the 2021-08-04 capture, where the plan has been renamed Paygo.
