Twilio WhatsApp now passes through Meta fees for service messages; Verizon carrier fee rises to $0.005
Twilio's WhatsApp page now says Meta charges for utility templates and service messages in the customer service window, and the Verizon long-code SMS carrier fee rises to $0.005.

The Twilio WhatsApp pricing page now states: “During a customer service window, Meta charges for utility template messages and non-template outbound service messages.” Twilio’s own per-message fee is unchanged at $0.005, and the US SMS rate stays at $0.0083.
US SMS and RCS Rich sit at $0.0083 per segment in both directions, MMS at $0.022 outbound and $0.0165 inbound, local numbers at $1.15/month and toll-free at $2.15/month. Long-code carrier fees now read $0.0035 (AT&T), $0.0045 (T-Mobile), $0.0045 (Verizon), $0.005 (US Cellular) and $0.004 (all other carriers) per outbound segment, against $0.003/$0.003/$0.004/$0.005/$0.0035 in June 2025. No automatic volume ladder is published anywhere on the page.
